With the evening air getting that crisp hint of fall I feel myself thinking toward sweater weather. You know, those night where it feels good to grab an oversized sweater, a glass of red wine and spend countless hours stargazing around the fire pit.

Along with those oversized sweaters, I also like to have all the goodies on hand for when a S’mores craving hits. So, I recently stocked up on graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate bars. But I also grabbed some extras. Because it’s always fun to be extra!!

S’more Fun

It’s super simple to create a S’mores Charcuterie Boards for backyard evenings around the fire pit. Just grab a wooden cutting board and toss on all the ingredients. You can take your s’mores to the next level by arranging a variety of ingredients on one of these tiered trays.

I’ve linked a few super cute trays like this one below.

S’more Goodies

Let’s quickly go beyond the basics and take those S’mores to the next level!!

Offer alternatives to the basic graham cracker. Here’s some suggestions.

1. Lotus Cookies

2. Oreos

3. Slice and Bake Chocolate Chip Cookies (my fav)

It might be hard to replace that gooey marshmallow filling but offer some fun alternatives to the standard chocolate bar is super simple. Below are some of our favorites.

1. Nutella

2. Cookie Butter

3. Peanut Butter Cups

4. Chocolate covered caramel candies

5. Cookies and Cream candy bars

Arrange all the goodies on your serving tray, and don’t forget roasting sticks and some wet wipes for all those messy hands!
